When I founded Stepford Contracts in 2019, my aim was simple: to build a civil engineering company that clients could rely on to deliver work properly, safely and to a consistently high standard.

We are a quality-driven business. We take the time to listen, plan carefully and communicate clearly because that’s what leads to successful projects and long-term relationships. Many of our clients return to us because they know what to expect, a straight-talking service and a team that cares about the work they deliver.

I’m proud of how the business has grown and even prouder of the people behind it. We invest in our teams through training and development, with a strong focus on promoting from within and building long-term careers at Stepford.

As we continue to grow, we’re also committed to giving back to the communities we work in. In 2026, we will be supporting three local charities, Home Start Glasgow North and Lanarkshire, Motherwell Food Bank Maranatha, and Up and Down Theatre Group (Hamilton), through both financial support and labour provided free of charge.

We look forward to continue building new relationships as we grow.
